Experience

Shari helps individuals and couples who struggle with addiction, abuse, anxiety, anger, depression and codependent relationships. She also teaches a class on conflict resolution using Resolving Everyday Conflicts by Peacemakers.

Shari Hall has completed the entire certificate program offered by the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (www.ccef.org). This comprehensive course of study has included courses in:

• A Biblical view of personal change

• Developing effective helping relationships and caring ministries within the local church

• Understanding counseling problems and procedures in both individual and marriage counseling

• Developing the essential qualities of a Biblical Counselor

• Counseling observation

She has also completed the Certification as a Genesis Process Counselor. Genesis Process primarily targets chemical dependency, and is easily adaptable to other unhealthy dependencies such as food, work, sex, anxiety, anger and relationships. It is a successful treatment process because it deals with the universal underlying issues that create destructive coping behaviors.

Since 2009, Shari has served on the leadership team of Celebrate Recovery by leading step studies, serving as a sponsor, and organizing the T.E.A.M. During these years she has spent countless hours working through her own hurts, habits, and hang-ups, as well as walking along-side others, and understands the struggle of change.

Shari was a part of the executive team in 2011-2013 serving at The Hope Center, Moscow Idaho, when they developed The Hope at Work Program for people who struggle with obtaining and keeping employment.

In 2016 Shari became a Her Journey instructor through the Abuse Recovery Ministry Services program (A.R.M.S.). This program helps both women who are in abusive situations as well as men who are abusers.

In 2017, Shari partnered with Peter & Claire Roise to cofound the non-profit Awaken Network, which works to educate on the subject of abuse.
